This structure allows vast amounts of bacteria and microorganisms to colonize the media, improving filtration even in areas not directly exposed to water flow. Its sponge-like capillary action ensures maximum water absorption and efficient nutrient processing throughout the media.
The Ceramic Shower Media accelerates the breakdown of organic solids and decomposing material through both aerobic and anaerobic bacterial activity. This process effectively removes harmful compounds such as Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate, helping maintain ecological balance in your pond. Being pH neutral, the media does not erode or dissolve under high flow rates, ensuring consistent performance over time.
Ideal for shower or trickle filters, the Ceramic Shower Media can also be used submerged in chambers. For best results, the media should be arranged randomly or in half-lengths to encourage water movement and oxygen exchange. Avoid placing it in uniform rows, as this can reduce filtration efficiency. The Midi Shower holds 100 Litres, while the Maxi Shower accommodates 250 Litres. Each box contains approximately 30 Litres. Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
