Each 1,000ml bottle treats up to 20,000 litres of pond water, providing a reliable solution for koi and ornamental pond fish affected by Gyrodactylus (skin flukes) and Dactylogyrus (gill flukes). The treatment is based on high-quality anti-worm agents, including Nitroscanate, Flubendazole, and Praziquantel, to which resistance has not yet developed, ensuring efficacy even against resistant parasites.
Symptoms of infection include listlessness, abrasion, decreased appetite, and the appearance of gray, slimy layers on the skin. Gill flukes damage gills, causing thickening and impaired function, while skin flukes reproduce rapidly. Colombo Lernex Pro is designed for safe use in ornamental ponds, while pets and birds that only drink pond water are not affected. Treatment effectiveness is improved at water temperatures above 10°C for optimal parasite absorption.
Administration is simple, with the active agents naturally degrading in the pond via oxidation and bacterial activity. Due to its advanced formula, single administration is often sufficient, though proper water temperature and pond monitoring can enhance results. Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
