This advanced submersible UV unit provides radiation at 253.7nm, effectively controlling algae and harmful microorganisms in pond water. Each complete unit comes with both the quartz sleeve and the UV bulb, ready for immediate installation.
Available in 40W and 80W models, the DVS Submersible UV is suitable for ponds up to 35 m³ (7,500 gallons) and 70 m³ (15,000 gallons). Amalgam technology is energy-efficient, saving 50–70% compared to conventional TL lamps, and operates optimally for up to 16,000 hours. Even after this period, the lamp retains approximately 80% of its original output. Its short length (33–66cm) allows easy integration into sieves, drum filters, or other pond systems without adding extra pipework.
The unit comes with a special tank connector fitting, allowing water to pass freely without resistance or pressure loss. **Please note:** UV-C radiation treats only part of the flowing water, depending on water clarity. Always ensure the lamp is fully submerged during operation, and avoid direct eye exposure—UV light is harmful. Always wear UV safety glasses when near a switched-on unit.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk as soon as possible. We will replace the product free of charge and cover the return shipping costs for the incorrect or damaged item.
Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
How do I cancel my order?
