EazyPod
The Evo EazyPod is a compact and efficient pond filtration system, part of the Nexus family, designed for ponds up to 10,000 litres. This advanced filter combines mechanical and biological filtration in a single, easy-to-use unit. The Evo EazyPod features 18 litres of static K1 Micro media, which enhances biological filtration even when the system is used primarily as a mechanical waste filter. It is available in two colours: Grey and Granite Green, allowing pond owners to match their outdoor aesthetics.
Water enters the Evo EazyPod via the inlet and circulates around the outer chamber. Larger solids are filtered out by the stainless-steel grill and settle at the chamber’s base. The finer solids then pass into the central chamber where the K1 Micro media traps particles while supporting biofilm growth for effective biological filtration. Clean water then rises and overflows into the return pipe, flowing back into the pond. This dual-stage process ensures crystal-clear water and a healthy environment for koi, goldfish, and ornamental pond fish.
Cleaning the Evo EazyPod is simple and efficient. A 70-litre per minute air pump is recommended during cycle cleaning. The EazyPodAir and EazyPod Complete models include the air pump and accessory kit, making setup straightforward. The Evo EazyPod is ideal for hobbyists or professional pond keepers looking for a reliable, compact filtration solution that provides both mechanical and biological benefits.
How the EazyPod works
Water from the pond enters the EazyPod via the inlet and then flows around the circumference of the outer chamber of the EazyPod, passing through the stainless-steel grill causing many of the larger solids to be filtered out and settle in the base of the outer chamber. This is the first stage of mechanical filtration. As water enters the central chamber, through the stainless-steel grill, the fine smaller solids become trapped in the mass of K1 Micro. Biofilms build up on the protected surface area within each piece of media, allowing biological filtration to take place. After passing through the K1 Micro, the clean water then rises and overflows into the inner return pipe and flows back to the pond via the outlet. The EazyPod is incredibly simple to clean. A 70 litre per minute air pump is recommended for use during the cycle cleaning. *Only EazyPodAir and EazyPod Complete models are supplied with a 70 litre per minute air pump and accessory kit.
Installing the EazyPod
Pump-Fed Installation:
By this, we mean that if your pump is going to be used to supply the water to the filter, and the filtered water then returns into your pond via gravity, i.e. down a waterfall, or through a large diameter pipe, this is referred to as 'pump-fed' (i.e. the water is fed to the filter using a pump).
Gravity-Fed Installation:
*User modification is required on the EazyPod to enable Gravity Fed installation. By this we mean that your pump is going to be used to return the filtered water to the pond and therefore your filter will be supplied by gravity via a larger diameter pipe. In this situation the water level in the filter will be at the same level as the pond.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk as soon as possible. We will replace the product free of charge and cover the return shipping costs for the incorrect or damaged item.
Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so within 14 days of receiving your products. Please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk for authorization.
What is your refund policy?
We will refund all sums paid by you if the items are returned in the condition they were sent. Please allow up to 3-5 days for us to process your return once we receive the items back.
