Kenko Wheatgerm Sinking is available in 4.5mm pelletsThis sinking food can be fed all year round, especially winter time when the Koi aren't as active near the surface of the pond. Formulated for Koi it is also suitable for a wide variety of species with bottom and surface feeding behaviour including Tench and Goldfish.
This sinking pellet has been prepared using special temperature cooking and 'expander' technology. This helps gelatinise the start present in the food, rendering it more digestible for all pond fish. As a result the pellet is very dense; this high density allows the pellet to sink slowly through the water column, making it perfect for surface feeders during the colder months when they tend to feed in the lower areas of the pond.
The metabolism of koi and pond fish slows down considerably in cold water temperatures so it is important to feed an easily digestible food. Kenko Wheatgerm Sinkings is designed to provide this and ensures that the koi still get enough energy to stay healthy during the winter months. This reduces the chance of congestion, disease and infection.
Feeding advice :
At water temperatures above 5 degrees you may feed this food multiple times a day, should the Koi be searching for food. This food is ideal as a transitional food when coming into the next season of a higher protein food or when winding down during the autumn. Only feed what the Koi will eat in 5 minutes. Do not over feed. Remove any uneaten pellets after this time to avoid polluting the water.

Use when Water Temperature is above 5 Degrees
Kenko Wheatgerm Sinking is best fed when your water temperature is at or above 5 degrees to allow your koi to get the maximum benefit. You can feed multiple times per day, ensuring that any uneaten food is removed to help keep your water clean and clear.
Clear, Clean Water The high quality of this premium feed results in very little impact on the quality of the water or cause contamination or discolouration. It is important that excess uneaten food should be removed ideally within 10 minutes to prevent contamination. What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk as soon as possible. We will replace the product free of charge and cover the return shipping costs for the incorrect or damaged item.
Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so within 14 days of receiving your products. Please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk for authorization.
What is your refund policy?
