Kusuri Fluke M is a 50mg/g Flubendazole medication designed to eradicate Gill and Body Flukes in koi and garden ponds. This treatment is safe to use without harming the beneficial bacteria in your filter and can be applied at any water temperature. While dosing with Kusuri Fluke M, feeding can continue, making it a convenient and effective treatment for pond owners.
For ponds with excessive mucus layers, pre-treatment with Chloramine T (15g per 1000 gallons) 24 hours before using Fluke M is recommended. This reduces mucus membranes where body flukes may hide. Caution is required in soft water; if the pH is below 7 and general hardness (KH) is under 6°dH, reduce the dose by 75%. Fluke M is compatible with salt treatment.
The product is typically a one-off treatment but may require a second dose after seven days for heavy infestations. Dosage: 65g treats 5,500 gallons and 130g treats 11,000 gallons. For optimal results, water temperature should be above 15°C, and the treatment remains active in water for up to seven days.
To apply, dissolve the measured dose in boiling water, allow it to cool, and slowly pour into the return of the pond over one hour. Switch off the UV during treatment. Store Kusuri Fluke M between 12°C and 25°C, keep out of reach of children, wear protective gloves and goggles, and do not use with other medications. Regular use ensures healthy fish and a parasite-free pond environment.

Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
