Kusuri Formalin 30% is specially formulated for the treatment of most single-celled parasites in pond environments. For enhanced effectiveness, it is recommended to use Kusuri Formalin together with Kusuri Malachite Green 2%. The product is suitable for use at water temperatures above 12.5°C (54.5°F) and must never be mixed with salt solutions. Always follow the health and safety instructions on the bottle, including wearing protective gloves and eye protection.
Controlling parasites is essential for maintaining healthy koi, goldfish, and ornamental pond fish. Single-celled parasites like White Spot, Costia, Chilodonella, Oodinium, and other protozoans can stress fish, reduce appetite, and compromise water quality. Effective treatment is required to protect your pond and ensure thriving aquatic life.
Directions of Use: Switch off the UV steriliser during treatment. Tighten the cap, mix well, and measure the correct dose. Fill a clean watering can with pond water, then gradually add Formalin. Slowly sprinkle across the pond surface over a 1-hour period. Stop feeding during the course of treatment to prevent ammonia spikes.
Dosage: 250ml treats 15,116 litres (3,325 gallons) of pond water, 500ml treats 30,232 litres (6,650 gallons), and 1 litre treats 60,463 litres (13,300 gallons). Do not overdose, as it can cause fish fatalities. Store between 5°C and 30°C in the original container, away from children, and use within 12 months of opening.

Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
