Kusuri Formalin & Malachite Premix is a ready-to-use full-strength formulation designed for pond-wide anti-parasite treatment. It combines 30% formalin with malachite green to effectively control most single-cell parasites, including White Spot, skin flukes, Chilodonella, Oodinium, and protozoan parasites. The product is safe for ponds above 12.5°C (54.5°F) and should never be used in combination with salt or other medications.
Parasites such as White Spot, Costia, Chilodonella, Oodinium, and other protozoans can quickly compromise the health of koi, goldfish, and ornamental pond fish. Effective treatment is essential to prevent disease, stress, and water quality issues.
Directions of Use: Treat the pond up to three times, with seven days between each dose. Switch off UV sterilizers until the course of treatment is complete. Fill a clean watering can with pond water, then add the measured dose of Kusuri Formalin & Malachite Premix. Slowly apply over a one-hour period to prevent shocking the pond with a concentrated dose. Stop feeding during treatment to avoid ammonia spikes caused by reduced bacteria in the filter.
Dosage: Add 10ml per 456 litres (100 gallons) of pond water. 250ml treats 11,365 litres (2,500 gallons), 500ml treats 22,730 litres (5,000 gallons), and 1 litre treats 45,461 litres (10,000 gallons). Do not overdose, as this can cause fish fatalities. Store in the original container between 2°C and 30°C, keep out of reach of children, and use within 12 months of opening.

Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
