The Amalgam Submersible UV's are the most effective form of uvc to date.
The Amalgam Submersible UVs provide radiation with a wavelength of 253.7nm which is generated by the special light source UV lamp. The complete units come with both the quartz and the UV bulb so are ready to go.Amalgam Submersible UV 40/80 watt

– Energy-saving: Amalgam saves 50-70% compared to normal TL-lamps
– Optimal operation up to 16,000 (amalgam) hours
– After 16,000 hours of use, the lamp is still about 80% of it's original output.
– Short length: ideal for integration for Sieves or Drum Filters
– No resistance in the system (extra pipework)

– These come with a special tank connector fitting.These lamps can be used in filter tanks so the water can pass without any resistance/pressure loss
NOTE: the UV-C Radiation range is limited (dependent on i.e. the water clarity) so only a part of the flowing water is treated. The user is responsible for the dangers of exposure to the UV-C radiation to the eye.
WARNING: Please make sure that the lamp is always completely underwater
WARNING: UV light is harmful to the eyes so always wear UV safety glasses when in close proximity to a switched on unit.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk as soon as possible. We will replace the product free of charge and cover the return shipping costs for the incorrect or damaged item.
Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so within 14 days of receiving your products. Please contact us at orders@queni-koi.co.uk for authorization.
What is your refund policy?
We will refund all sums paid by you if the items are returned in the condition they were sent. Please allow up to 3-5 days for us to process your return once we receive the items back.
