Tamodine can be applied directly to the wound after any dead tissue has been removed, helping clean the area and support the healing process. It is commonly used by koi keepers and pond owners as part of fish wound care and treatment routines.
Tamodine Wound Antifungal & Antibacterial for fish is available in 50ml and 100ml sizes, making it suitable for both small and regular pond fish care needs. The product should be applied liberally to the infected area, maintaining contact for 1–2 seconds before releasing the fish. There is no need to keep the fish under anaesthesia for longer than required.
For best results, repeat daily for 4 days, then continue every 2–3 days until satisfactory healing is noted. Can I return koi or specially made products?
Unfortunately, once koi have left our premises, we cannot accept any responsibility for them, and they cannot be returned. Additionally, specially made products, such as custom filtration systems, can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged.
